You are entitled to request expedited processing of your record request in certain circumstances. If you request expedited processing, the agency must grant or deny your request within ten calendar days (5 U.S.C. § 552(a)(6)(E) (2018)).
Provide a description of the circumstances which support your request for expedited processing. You will also need to “certify” your declaration with a statement similar to “I certify that my statements concerning the need for expedited processing are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.”
