The Associated Students at UC Berkeley have passed a resolution demanding that UC Berkeley terminate their contract with SSTI, Inc, the Newark-based manufacturer of Shotspotter gunshot detection microphones.
SSTI was sued in 2018 by the victim of a police shooting in Rochester NY, who was charged and then acquitted of four felonies after being shot by the Rochester Police Department in the driveway beside his home.
